The three sonatas offered here are recorder arrangements of the three sonatas Bach wrote for harpsichord obligato & viola da gamba. The pieces were transposed to keys suitable for the recorder. The two melodic lines were treated as interchangeable, that is, equally suitable for each of the melodic lines in the arrangement.
